DISCOVERED! Old Pirate Sea trunk.

Paul was up in Maine last weekend and at a yard sale next to the rusty old swing bridge in the middle of town he discovered an old sea chest pictured above. Paul was super pumped and got this funny feeling when he saw it and new it was worth a small fortune. Maybe like $500 or something. He got a really good price on it, I think I gave the old bag sitting there like $25. When Paul got it home he popped a few photos of the old sea chest out the back of his truck, and noticed a goon neighbor was watching. It seemed that the old man looked like he thought it was his sea trunk and Paul was stealing it from his house. Paul was easily ready to tell that old man to screw, its absolutely not his sea trunk, but rather Paul got it at a yard sale in Maine. The guy just walked inside and that was it.

Check out more photos of this bastard under the Sea Trunk section of this blog. It just may reveal a little more to the story of this pirate trunk. So don't leave this site until you've checked out the sea trunk.

Things sweet.

  2. Note from the editor: I understand where you are coming from. I really like the word "Trunk" and I especially like the word "Chest". So i was stuck. I guess I just wanted both words in my post so I kinda hopped between both words. I hope people will understand.
    Thanks.

  3. My friend, her siblings and my siblings and I usually hang around together a lot, so one day when we were all together we decided we would all go down to the end of my street by the water. As we were walking we found our selves eying a mound of big items going to good will, and when we were together we didn't always have the best intentions so looked through the items to see if there was anything favorable. There it was, we were nearly breathless as we spotted a big, ancient looking chest, so we all decided to haul it up to my house. It looked EXACTLY like that one, to a tee, I was just wondering if you knew where it came from? Or any history maybe? It also has a picture pasted on the inside of it of a water lily background, with a budgie looking bird of a sort, fixed with a circular picture of an old fashioned lady, her hair up, holding a fan in front of her face. Hope this helps!
